      Hi, Becky.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment and your kind words. It’s always a pleasure helping other bloggers when I can as I know how it can feel not knowing where to turn at times.

With the little one starting school next week, I should have a bit more time to write more posts.

I’m also trying to learn a bit as I go along and we all know how long these things can take. Note – In this post, I’ve finally figured out how to insert internal hyperlinks. Success!

Once again, thank you for your help and taking the time to comment.

  • Thank you so much for posting this! So useful having started my blog this week! Everything is currently a little daunting!

      Hi, Kathryn.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, I’m glad you found this post useful.

Getting started can be daunting but the most important thing is not to give up. I’m am still learning and a long way from where I want to be, but I’ll get there. In the meantime, I’m quite happy to share things as I pick them up.

As a newbie, you may find my other site useful, 101usefulwebsites.com. It’s at the early stages, but there are some useful websites, especially for bloggers that are just starting out.

Once again, thank you for leaving your comment.

  • Great guide 🙂
I also love Hootsuite for scheduling and managing twitter posts

      Hi, Angela.

Thanks for passing by and leaving a comment.

I realise this guide isn’t for everybody, but if you’re going to use just a few, it’s worth looking into hashtagify.me and topsy.com. However, if you use any of them, and you wish to write a short review, let me know and I’ll add it to the bottom of the page under the subheading ‘What other people think’.

      Thanks for hosting #PositivelyPosted

      Hi, Nadia.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I love picking up tips and tricks from other bloggers and then I try to share them too. Do you have any, I would love to hear them?

      Thanks for the comment. #KCACOLS

  • Thanks for this, very useful. #kcacols

  • This a great guide for twitter! There is always so much to learn. I’m now in the hunt of a good scheduling option to use for my linky. I’ve tried Hootsie but I’m not convinced. I also used Twitter Deck for scheduling but you have to do it one by one. I hope I can find one that suits me soon. I have a series of blogging tips that I publish every week. If you are interested about blogging tips you may want to have a read! I shared it with my husband who works in IT. Thanks Martin for linking up with me #KCAKOLS. Please join me again for tomorrow. 🙂 x

      Hi, Franca.

Thank you for your kind words. I have found the scheduling with Twitter a real pain, I wish it was as easy as FB. I spend 1 1/2 hours on a Monday and Tuesday each week doing my pages and unless I get something new to add, I know my posts are done.

I’ll be over to see your blogging tips, and if I can add them to my other blog (101usefulwebsites.com) then I will. From the list, I have found Topsy.com and Hashtagify.me useful. How about you?

Thank you for sharing with your husband, I appreciate it. #KCAKOLS

Oh! And by the way, I’ve added your Linky to my guide of Linky Parties. http://www.athomewiththeboys.com/linky-parties/

Once again, thanks for leaving your comment.

  • I tried to comment earlier but I couldn’t. It said that have a duplicated answer 🙁 so I’m trying again. I was saying the this is a great guide for twitter. You have covered it well. I’m trying to find a good scheduling app. I have tried hootsuite and twittdeck but I’m still not 100% happy. I hope I find one soon. I have a blogging tips series that I share it with my husband that works in IT. If you fancy have a look. Thank you so much Martin for joining me at #KCACOLS, Please join me again tomorrow. 🙂 x

      Hi, Franca.

I’ve been having a lot of issues with my hosting company and my site often goes down. However, they have agreed to swap me over to another server this Monday (12-10-15), so things should be okay after that. If you still have problems after that, please let me know as it might be time to change companies.

      Thank you.

  • Hi, this is a really good resource, there’s some very interesting sites/tools you have linked that I’m going to check out. Many thanks for sharing! #KCACOLS
